Current series (2021–2026): ABS 6401.0 Table 10, monthly, Original. Rebaselined so each city/fuel series starts at 100 in October 2021, allowing direct comparison of price growth across series.
The two series use different reference periods and cannot be directly concatenated. Use the time-period toggle to switch eras.
A few months in the current series (notably Perth and Brisbane electricity in 2022–2025) show very low values reflecting the timing of the Commonwealth Energy Bill Relief Fund rebates, which the ABS treats as CPI price reductions.
